Sometime our customers and our potential customers have questions about the services we provide. On this page we will try to cover some of those questions and provide you some simple answers to them.

Is remote support secure?

Once we set you up for remote support, we configure remote access to only the server through firewall rules from the outside world. This access is secure and also can be limited. Once logged into the server we have the ability of accessing and sharing each desktop with the end user. Furthermore, access to the desktop is limited to come from only the server so no user can access another users desktop.

Does your maintenance agreement include monitoring?

Yes, any customer taking advantage of our maintenance agreements will be set up on the remote monitoring system for no additional cost. View our Services page for more details on the maintenance agreements we offer.

Is wireless networking secure?

It can be! When you go to the store, buy a wireless access point or router and set it up, it is not secure. There are some configuration changes that can be made to make your wireless connection secure and keep it that way. We at Plateau Technology Solutions have years of experience configuring secure wireless connections.
